Embedding Power BI, Power Apps and Webpage to Dynamics 365 HR

In this article, We will see how to embed Power BI, Power Apps and Webpage to Dynamics 365 HR.

Previously, We can only add Power Apps to Dynamics 365 but with new feature called “Full Page Apps”, user has to ability to embed apps within Dynamics 365 HR.

1. Enable Feature “Full page apps”

Go to System Administration > Feature Management > Search for Full Page Apps

Once the feature is enabled then refresh the form.

2. Embed Power Apps

Go to Home and right click on form > Personalize > Add Page

Here we have to ability to add three options. Select Power Apps.

Provide Name, App Id and Click OK.

Go to Home > Click on Leave Request

Reference : I used the standard template from Power Apps for Leave Request.

3. Embed Power BI

If you have already Power BI report created then go to PowerBI.com and login with your credentials.

Go to report and click on Edit

Copy the Secure Embed code

Go to Home > Right click > Personalize >

Add Page > Select Website option

Provide the name and Paste the Secure Embed code

Once this is done, Select the new page, You will see Power BI report in Full page view

4. Embed Webpage

Go to Home > Right click > Personalize >

Add Page > Select Website option

Provide the name and copy the website link
